The idea is to sell LC with an already populated Course Catalog of external courses that the Admin can purchase for their company.
Suggested action plan in 2 steps:
A. Partnering with content providers
We would contact content providers (I suggest exploring big companies as Udemy and also other small businesses that focuses on content creation) and offer them to include their courses in our catalog with their logo and a "purchase" logo. Companies would purchase the courses at the required price with the only difference that their courses would be displayed directly on LC.
B. How the Admin purchases the course
The Customer would preview its course map, training hours and price. They would see clearly the partners' logo and the locked symbol ($). If they like it, they would "Apply to join" and be redirected to the partner payment page. Once the payment is done, the course would be unlocked and available for the Admin.
Notes:
- Some content providers offer a flat subscription - We could also give the companies acces to it.
- If the customer is subscribed to a content provider such as Udemy, we would integrate the courses with LC to have all in the same place
- We can offer our partners to subtitle some courses, if they are not in Spanish, so we can offer them in Latam
- We could also partner with particular course designers, as Udemy - for example - does, so we offer their courses in our Course Catalog and they sell it
- If necessary, I can get in touch with content providers to see if they would like to collaborate - let me know, first, if we have any previous experience in this
- At the beginning, I suggest we don't get any margin on these sales: having a populated Course Catalog is already something that sells a lot.
