Scope should be as following :
proctoring using a safe browser
It will have 2 options ( Lab centers, End-User Device)
EDC asked to implement the first option in their labs
It requires software installation (safe browser).
The instructor will have the option to choose a “safe exam” during the creation of the assessment, by choosing this option it will allow him to define different configuration options that will be set in the safe browser.
the end-user will be requested to open it with a specific URL that takes him to take the exam page, this page shouldn’t have navigation controls or links to the site.
The locking behavior can be controlled via a configuration file installed on the machines that will be used to take the exam
Option for admin/instructor to define different configuration options for Safe Exam Browser
Tablets should be considered in case of remote
Option to allow admin/instructor to resume exams in case of system failure (power off / computers restarted / ..etc)
Development effort as per Saqqa discussion is around 360 Hour (excluding quality & overheads)
